KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: John Rampton
WOW!!!!!!

The guys were much better than the re-union tour in 97. Paul sounds great,Gene's voice is stronger than ever, Ace is really putting in 100% and eric does peter so well that if you didnt here the voice you would swear it was peter in 1980.

The set list was the same as melbourne perth etc. There were some technical hitches such as occasional digital interference and Aces mike cutting in and out during shock me. All the special effects worked well but the flash pots weren,t as loud as i hoped they would be, maybe GC on friday will be louder......I hope.

I thought Paul was not going to make the stage for love gun, as the cable he flew in on brought him in to fast and he landed on the little stage with a thump.

The Only ctiticisms i would have would be the anal security people, they set themselves up expecting mass riots or something. We were sitting door 1 section aa seat 1 & 2 which was right on the floor. On three occassions my girlfiend started dancing on the floor and was quickly told to get back 1 foot from the edge of the floor. A bit anal if you ask me. ALl in all a great show and i cannot wait to see them on GC on friday, though I will probably feel quite melancholy on the day.
