KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Marcus
I had the pleasure of seeing this great band for the last time on saturday and felt that it was the best concert i have ever witnessed. This is the 4th time I have seen the band, the other being 1980, 1995, & 1997.

The concert in 1980 will always live in my memory and it was outdoor with all the fireworks ect. This show was by far the best and the venue was superb and pertfetly suited the band (I think I am getting older and prefer seating).

The stage and the lighting where awsome and the video behind eric completed the setup. The video was a huge improvement on the one used in the reunion tour and enhanced the whole production. The journey of Aces smoking guitar added was great. I have read a few of the reviews and while there was a couple of items regarding missed verses ect, I would like to congatulate a four members for the effort and stunning show that they put on.

In australia we respect the effort and attitude of how you approach you task and you gave one hundred and ten percent and you have the respect as showmen and entertainers from all those privalidged enough to attend this concert.

The ultimate measurement of the standard of the show was my own litmus test that I took with me, that being my future wife. She has never seen kiss or heard any of the music (except i was made for loving you) and her agreeing to accompany me to the show was her ultimate proof of love for me (I still think this will haunt me if celen dion ever tours. uuuhhhh).

The result was that she loved the show, thought the band was awsome and now lets me play kiss alive 111 (with my air guitar) when she is home.

That is a huge barrier crossed.

The only negative experience i had during the evening was at the conclussion of the show, i realised that i would never see this band live on stage again.

To Kiss, thank you for an awsome show and thank you for bringing such pleasure into my life over the past 27 years. I cant wait to tell the grand kids that I and thier grandma saw Kiss.
