KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dan
Good, but not great. Before you start, yes, I am a KISS fan and I do own all the albums. Its just that all the interviews I read led me to believe this was going to be REALLY big instead of (as it turned out) big.The guys performed really well although I could have done without Ace having to sing away from the mike in order to check where his fingers were on his guitar! Another thing I could have done without (as most Australians would agree) was Pauls style of comunication with the audience,I mean T.V evangelisim might work in the States, but down here its a bit like, c'mon mate speak to us a bit more sincerely (...shit...maybe he was! Scary!) And what was the deal with the re-hashing of the background graphics from the last tour? I paid GOOD money to see originality, not to mention 4 original members! (don't start me on that, I still feel everyone should have got back a quarter of the ticket price when Peter split!)And one last gripe..the pyros were reasonably lame, they're getting enough cash for this tour so theres really no excuse for this (even Bon Jovi's pyros in 89 were better!)

OK, sorry to whine its just that I felt a little let down. The boys promised Hell, and delivered hot terra firma. But they still rock anyway!
