KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jodiemax
Oh Yeah!!!

Hello Sydney! Again!

The show was pretty much the same. One thing though, the sound was crisper and clearer than the previous night. The set list didn’t change except that in Paul’s solo he only did a few chords of I Still Love You but no vocals before changing his mind and doing a virtually complete Hard Luck Woman and a complete Shandi. The other thing that changed was that there was no medley in the encore – they just did I Was Made and when they came back on again it was Rock and Roll All Nite and see ya later. Although these bits went missing, I thought the show was a bit better and a bit more polished than the night before, the guys seemed more on song. I was 4 rows up the side, level with the 6th row and was better placed than last night. Gene was having a go and some old fogies even closer than I was who were sitting down at some time during the show. So as not to upset them too much he then gave them one of his best grins. What can you say, but once again,

“AWESOME, TOTALLY AWESOME”……

Last night it wasn’t so bad when the concert ended because you knew you would be back for more the next night. Still, 5 hours of live Kiss in a weekend is never enough. And now when you know there’ll never be any more, it’s devastating. Hopefully at least there will be some videos of the farewell tour and an Alive IV. Kiss forever!!!
