KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dave
Wow, what can I say, simply awsome! This was by far the best concert I have ever been to. From the moment the lights go down the Superdome was on its feet. From Genes bass thumping you in the chest to the brilliance of Pauls vocals this was simply the mother of all concerts.

One thing is also very obvious, Ace is having the time of his life ! He was smiling, joking around with Gene and Paul, and put simply, was as much apart of the performance as anyone else.

The setlist was very similar if not the same as the Melbourne concerts, Ace sang second verse of Cold Gin, Paul did First verse of I still Love you, most of Hard Luck Women and half of Shandi during his solo ! The medley towards the end was awsome, starting with New York Groove complete with Ace' flashing guitar. Parasite,She and Makin Love were brilliant and sounded very tight, what a shame they didn't do all of Makin Love, still after nearly 2 1/2 hours who's complaining ? how do these guys do it ? 50+ and dancing around like men half their age, Paul is simply amazing, he just doesn't stop, he is without a doubt the best frontman (also the fittest) in the business-no exceptions! Eric Singer makes the current line up complete ! Whether you love or hate Peter Criss, Eric is simply a better drummer and its reflected big time on stage !

Having said that, what a show, simply brilliant, can't wait for the Gold Coast next weekend !
