KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Peter
it was my privilege to attend the first Sydney concert on the farewell tour. it was a great show and very loud.

the whole band was in great form but i believe Gene was the weakest link if i was to be a bit picky.

duriing I Love it Loud - Gene sang the same verse three times and during God of Thunder he came back just a bit late and Paul had to sing the first lines after Erics spectacular drum solo.

Eric was spectacular and added a new dimension to the sound with all his experience and expertise.

Ace was the highlight i believe - he absolutely went off and after reading mixed reviews of his contributions during the entire farewell odyssey i was honestly surprised how good he was.

Paul was the ultimate professional as always and has to be known as one of the great front men in rock history.

All the stunts worked.

"Let me go rock n roll" - absolutely rocked and was the highlight for me.

and the guys managed to fit in a full range of songs covering their career.

All in all a great show and a fitting farewell but tinged with sadness that that is that and we won't see them again.
