KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jesse Davies
Well let me start by saying that after five farewell shows I dident think i could be impresses but I was wrong. we arrived at the show an hour before the doors opened and the line for the show was aroung the block and with general admition seating we were sure we were not going to get anywere near the stage well when we got in the floor was all huddled around the center of the stage and by ace's side so I went for gene's side and got right up near the barrier in front of gene's risor I couldent believe it front row. well skid row took the stage at 700 and did there set the same as its been for the whole show and next up was ted what can i say ted is ted well after ted we were standing there and the Whos we dont get fooled again comes on and we know its time to get ready the curtain drops and the show begins well from past experiences with there shows I know the set list so its ready to rock but for some reason being front row made it 120% better within the first two songs I had already caught a Gene and paul pick and being that close I was having a lot of fun with the band members gene was having fun with us he kept steping on water bottles and getting the crowd wet well as i said I already had a paul and gene pick all i need now is an ace pick so during lick it up he comes to our side and when paul is doing his intro ace sticks out his toungue so i stick mine out at him and he stickes his back out at me so i do the same then he dose it again and winks so i do it again and wink so he dose it again and gives me a thumbs up and throws me his pick well i look at the pick and it is a grey pick that says nylon herco flex 75 so i look at it and am a little dissapionted he leaves to his side of the stage well the resty of the show took off at there usual pace but when they came back to sing rran they dident go right into it they played a meledy of I stole your love new york groove parasite hotter then hell and a few others and that was a real highlite well the show was great and the band is in great form so if you get the chance check them out and If any one was in front and got pictures of tonight let me know if I can buy some copys as our camera died in the begining of the show Kiss thank you for 27 years of Rock and roll
