KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dennis Howe
I've just return from the farewell concert and let me just say, THANK YOU KISS. thank you for all the years and all the great times. I have seen kiss more times than i can count(beginning with the dynasty tour in 79) and this was unbelievable. By in far better than the reunion tour, the band was tight and played they're hearts out.

You could see they're were having a great time. gene was 10 times better than at the reunion tour, his flying stunt could have had a major mishap tonight as just before he starting coughing up blood he noticed that one of the cables was not attached. but they fixed it and he flew up which got a thunderous pop from the crowd.

Paul flew out as well and was vocaly the best i have ever heard him, he held notes longer than i had ever heard. He kept the rapping down a bit but he showed tonight why he is the greatest frontman ever.

Ace was incredible, he may have flubed a note or two but he was on cue and was much better than the reunion tour. And Peter.....everyone has been bitching about Peter....well yeah he's getting old.....but damn he pounded it out tonight, his "solo" during 100,000 years was great and he looked like he was having a great time.

the 80's songs rocked, the video screen they used was 100 times better than the reunion tour and the clips during "do ya love me" was the highlight of the night.

so i sit here tonight and it's bittersweet, they put on probally the best show i have ever seen them do. they rocked and showed to everyone why they're the best live act ever, but my heart is heavy knowing that it was the last time i ever see them live.

THANK YOU KISS.......YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
