KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jason Smouse
I'm not sure which was better, Seeing KISS again after a long wait (Tampa was missed on the Psycho Circus Tour) or... seeing my girlfriends' reaction durring the show. This was her first KISS show, What makes this interesting is she doesn't (excuse me) didn't get the whole KISS "thing" as she once put it, so when she told me after the show that she would go again in a second, that made it all worth while on such a diffren't level. She used to think Gene was just a cocky jerk when she would see or read interviews with him. Of course she was usually forced to watch them in the first place What can I say I'm a fan! NOW she beleives the hype! I'ts just a shame that I finally get a girlfriend to like (I know I'd push it with love) KISS and they say it's over and that sucks on such a diffrent level! But man, did they go out in style! I know I'm not the only one who got just a little choked up durring the video montage for "Do You Love Me" That showed me really for the first time what KISS is truly about and that's their fans! You knew you were part of something special. I felt KISS couldn't not have put on a better show than they did Wed. night. I have to admit myself I was a little concerned about Peter and Ace playing the 80's material WOW!!! They rocked!!! Peter, Ace I'm sorry I doubted you for a second. and to Paul and Gene Thank you for carrying the torch for so many years and giving us fans something positive to believe in. Thank you KISS for giving us what we wanted, "THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!" See you guys at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
