KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: DRROXX
May 9, 2000 Savage Hall, University of Toledo, Ohio.

I had never been to a concert at the Savage Hall in Toledo and would go back again. It had a intimate feeling as a reported 6,600 people witnessed the "Hottest Band in the World."

Skid Row was decent, much better than some of the reviews in here.

Uncle Ted was awesome, but Mr. Nuge, please tone down the comments, my 9 year old is a big fan of yours and he was a little upset about the "Suck my d__k" comments. Sure you have your opinions, but since many of us Dads want to make sure our kids get exposed to better music than Rap and Country or Nsync, don't turn them off. Tommy on the drums was awesome as he was in his Pat Travers days.

No suprises with Kiss, same great show as reported. Vocals were tight and show went off without a hitch except Paul couldn't fly across the arena as his rig failed and couldn't see Gene during his God of Thunder performance when he was up on top of the rig because the speakers blocked the view from those sitting more towards the sides.

Pyro was awesome. Man you can really feel the heat when the flames go up!! WHEWW!!!

Ace was on, seemed to hit every solo.

Paul really had it going tonight. Seemed to really have fun.

Peter really played great, he was really singing great and hitting the skins hard.

Gene, well, impressive as ever.

My 9 year old, an avid Kiss and Ace fan is converted for life. Can't get him out of bed in the morning anymore unless "Shout it out Loud" is cranked.

Oh to see your children turn into you. :)

See them!
