KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dan Dalpra
The Good..

Glad to see the return of "Won't Get fooled Again" as the lead in to the Show, That always gets me fired up. The band coming from the ceiling was awsome. The stage setup was over the top as usual. Lots of Fire and Fireworks. Tons of fake amplifires setup. Pauls voice for the most part was great, especially on Love Gun and some of the later songs. Genes voice seems better than on the reunion tour too. Peters voice was good as usual. I never saw Paul run around and goof around so much. He stole the show. It's a good thing because...

The Bad...

Pauls voice took about 5 songs to get his voice in good shape. There was some audio trouble on Aces Guitar for a while. Some pyro troube too. Paul seemed a bit annoyed at something at the beginning, he yelled at the spotlight guy once. Pauls Flying machine didn't work

The Ugly...

Gene was so fat I thought he Ate Ace. But Ace wouldn'e have been much more than an appetizer, he looked about 120 lbs. Ace played pretty bad, screwing up Shock Me terribly. Paul could only shake his head. ACe had to be sick or drunk or high, which I guess is classic in a way. Peter barely moved like he was in a pep band or something, especially after watching Tommy Aldridge rock with the Nug.

This is the worst Makeup Show I've seen, I've only seen 5 but I wasn't to impressed. I'm hoping for a pleasant suprise at the Palace in Detroit in 2 weeks. Stay tuned.
