KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Robert M Fletcher
Well, all I can say is another AWESOME KISS concert!!! Saturday night I said that Phoenix was the best show, but TUCSON was by far the BEST KISS concert I've ever seen!!! They started the show off with the video segment, and I must say Tommy Thayer has really put together some AWESOME stuff, some video I have NEVER seen before, then a bomb went off and the black Kiss curtain fell draping the stage, then after lots of spotlights going around every where, another bomb went off as the curtain fell, the crowd went nuts when we saw them coming down from the light truss, I just love this new entrance it is just so damn COOL...Then the "You Wanted The Best" and they blasted into DRC...

These guys were absolutely on FIRE tonight, and the 80's tunes, especially sounded better tonight then last night, maybe cause it was an arena and the acoustics were better I Love It Loud sounded EXCELLENT, all of the guys were having a ball, Pauls voice was kick ass, as was Ace's and Gene's, Peter was much more alive then last night and Black Diamond and Beth definately KICKED ASS!!

Encores were "I Stole Your Love", "Beth", and "Rock and Roll All Night". Kiss was definately on top of the world in Tucson, and I had 2nd Row center seats, I got a bloody loogie draped down the front of my shirt from Gene when he was on top of the truss, I caught an Ace pick, AND after Peter finished Beth I caught his towel, AWESOME, AWESOME night. Ace's solo was unreal, he played a riff from Almost Human, the opening riff, and he also played riffs from Rip It Out, this really kicked my ass, then right before Black Diamond, Paul sang "Forever" on stage solo, this was cut from last nights set. Paul flew, and there were no cherry pickers and of course Gene flew.........Ted kicked ass, and Skid Row pulled a no show!!!!!! no announcement was made, but they were not here.....
