KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Festivus
Incredible Show !!!! Skid Row was a "No Show" which was fine with me !!! They showed up in Tucson later that evening with a lame excuse and offered a "FREE" show at The Rock (nightclub) the next night provided you had a ticket stub from the concert or were willing to pay $10.00.

NO THANKS SKIDMARK !!! I would much rather keep my ticket stub as a souvenir than to reward you for showing up late and disappointing the people that actually "like" your music.

Ted Nugent opened the show with authority. He blistered the crowd with his own unique brand Blues, Insults and Awesome Rock and Roll !!! Ted is one of the few remaining Rockers that doesn't "give in" to the Bunny Hugging Liberals. He really got the crowd rocking with "Kiss My Ass". I personally wish he would have played longer, but I doubt he could have played any louder !!! My ears were bleeding by the time he left the stage. Fantastic opening to a legendary Kiss show...

When Kiss took the stage the crowd went wild. They opened with Detroit Rock City and never let up until they left the stage almost 2 1/2 hours later. The most impressive thing about the show was how tight, loud and clear Kiss played. The band seemed to be having fun and enjoying the crowd as much as we enjoyed them. Ace really stole the show with a blistering solo that touched on "Hard Times" and "New York Groove".

The only thing that could have made the show any better is if Paul would have kicked the goofy bastard in the head that grabbed the ring as he was landing back on stage from playing "Love Gun"...but I digress !!!

Thanks for listening and if Kiss comes to your town....GO see them !!!!
