KISS Tour 2000 Reviews

From: Joseph Boudreau
Well, having read most of the reviews here are few comments from someone who saw them for the first time 22 years ago, July 8, 1977, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

My criticisms: I live close to Vancouver so my travel time was very minimal compared to some. However, if I had not checked the Ticketmaster web site to ascertain who was coming to Vancouver, I'd never have known KISS were playing. Promotion was very bad around Vancouver for such a huge show. Having told people, since seeing the concert, where my wife,a good friend and myself spent News Years Eve, at a KISS show people said I didn't even know they were playing or they would have gone. This from people who live an hour from Vancouver!? Their loss not mine I know but when peple fly from around te globe to see KISS... Enough.

WELCOME TO THE SHOW, excellent introduction. We had 4th row off centre to the left seats. Sitting so close to Gene we could of had a conversation. The only comparison to the show 22 years ago was, it was KISS, and they rocked. Played a great variety of the old stuff which I really remember. Not a fan of the 80's stuff but enjoyed the three songs played. We had diposible camera's and got some great shots! These will help with the memories of seeing the UltimateBand of my youth. They kept hammering out the old tunes and played the crowed from side to side. It was a truely unique experience. I do not know why they chose Vancouver for that paeticular night, I think it was destiny for me, but I thank them. If anyone out there knows, drop me a note.

If you read it all, thanks.
