KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Rich
Well everyone let me say this is my second show I've attended on this tour & 22 KISS shows in all and KISS is amazing. They are so tight as a band their still one of the best live acts if you haven't seen this tour or the band try to get out and see them I truly believe this will be the last tour unlike many who think they will pull a Rolling Stones or The Who.

OK I first hafta bitch here a bit...and it's not about KISS they were solid. In all my years of attending Rock n Roll concerts including KISS concerts I've never seen a more lame bunch of people in my life!!! Most people were just sitting on their asses after the first 2 songs and it was kinda depressing to be honest. I did my part by standing pumping my fist in the air and singing in tandem the whole time giving every bit of enegy and respect I could to my heroes. KISS played their hearts out and they deserved a better crowd reaction than they got...I think even if you ask KISS they will say that the crowd didn't seem into it. I wish KISS would play some other venues that deserve a second show Jones Beach certainly didn't deserve it. JONES BEACH YOU HAVE THE WORST FANS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE...YOU SUCK!!! Let's hope all you chumps don't get tickets to the final show at THE GARDEN and that tickets goto people who deserve and will appreciate the greatest rock n roll show ever!!!

OK now onto the show. Skid Row was solid but for some reason tonite the lead singer sounded off...some people in the upper section of the crowd held up a banner during the first 3 songs that said "BRING BACK SEBASTIAN BACH". The new lead singer has sounded better on this tour but tonite wasn't his good nite. Terrible Ted was good as usual...rock solid 45 minutes and a great warm up to KISS.

KISS came floating down from the rafters playing Detroit Rock City and they never let up...ripping thru songs like Deuce, Shout it Out Loud, all. They played all the hits. Twenty songs in all and the crowd seem uninterested in Psycho Circus the most there was very little crowd reaction but that song came off great live. All you KISS fans who think the Psycho Circus song and albumn is cheese you should be ashamed of yourselves thats a great albumn from the fab four of Rock n Roll. The wind was blowing considerably so not as much pyro was used throughout the concert but they used what they could. KISS ended the show with Rock n Roll all nite and throughout the whole show KISS was rock steady.

On my way out of the arena I was walking by some fans who were slamming KISS and they were talking aloud saying why did they play 2000 Man and that the song sucked and it was off the albumn Kiss Alive 2...well ASSHOLES study up on your KISSTORY that song is off of DYNASTY chumps!!! I'm sorry to all the die hards but this rant is deserved towards all the unappreciative people who attended this show but KISS was awesome.
