KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Fox
Well Kiss has been my life for the past 23 or so years,(Im 27 now), so Im making sure I catch them at least 4 times on this tour. Musically they sounded tighter and better than I think Ive ever heard them. The show is a great show as usual. Certainly the most eyecatching spectacle you can hope to see whether youre a big kiss fan or not, which is why I suppose they feel they can get away with doing the same assemblyline of songs night after night. Its just simply unbelievably rude to all true Kiss fans and really stupid of them as well, to not be adding some different songs to the set!!! The reason I say in their best interest is because I just read a review from a fellow big kiss fan who said he would have went to see them many more times on this tour had they added some different songs to the setlist later in the tour, and I'm sure there are many others who feel the same. Do they not realize the demand there is for them to be doing some more obscure stuff!!???!?!?!?

And Im not even talking just about stuff theyve never played like "Rocket ride", "Going Blind", "Hard Times", "Larger than life" etc...(allthough that would be awesome), but what about "Got to choose", "Hotter than hell","Hooligan", "She","Nothing to loose",I would even prefer for them to bring back "watchin you", "strutter", and "rock bottom" then some of the stuff theyre playing over and over. I mean at least alternate some stuff, COMEON!!!! Give us a break!!! Its just really really annoying that they cant do that! We should start a petition or something. Anyway that withstanding, the show is still really good. The stage is very cool, and theyre playing is better than ever, allthough the sound wasnt too great. I saw them in VA also, and both shows were very well put together, but still pretty much the same old show. It would be so damn simple for them to please their fans immensly by just adding a couple of more obscure songs in the set. Its so silly!!!! Especially if this is really going to be the last time around. The demand for that is far greater than it is for the new kiss lunchbox! Anyway aside from that issue its still definetly a show worth seeing so dont miss it!
