KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dave Sammarco
Only one word can be used to describe this show. DISAPPOINTING !!! I have read all of the other reviews for this show and I have to wonder if all of you attented the same show that I did. While its still KISS and to be there is great, reflecting back on this show the next day I felt I had wasted my money. I saw basically the same show on the reunion and Psycho tours. Could KISS please make the slightest attempt to change the set list. "Do you love me ", "Dr. Love", "100,000 years", "Shock me" these songs can all go. How about "Creatures of the Night", "Room Service", "Take Me" ? Ace, how about "Rocket Ride", "Rip it Out"? How about 1 song each from their solo albums? Please try and be a little creative guys. I think playing songs from the non-makeup years is a great idea, but are Heavens on Fire and Lick it Up the best you could come up with or were these the easiest songs to learn how to play ? PLEASE !! How about anything off off of Revenge. Tears Are Falling. Or maybe surprise us all with SECRETLY CRUEL !!!!! As far as the band goes, Ace and Peter showed little interest in wanting ti be there, both with there usual screwups. Gene and Paul were good. Memo to Paul, please shut the hell up. Is the band that old and tired that they need a break after every song. In the time that Paul spends flapping is gums the could add 3 more songs. Gene the flying thing is played, can the solos all together, no one cares. Although I am upset I will attend the MSG final show. Hey KISS, pull something out of your ass to blow everyone away, 3+ hours maybe. Give the diehards what they want. All will be forgiven with a setlist of some different songs. Let us remember the last show as something incredible, not the same rehearsed show we have seen for the last 4 years.
