KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dave Lucas
SkidRow started the concert, playing loud to a half empty theater at about 7:15. They played for roughly about 40 minutes. Not bad if you are a SkidRow fan. At about 7:45 wild man Ted Nugent came on stage. He played all the hits including a special New York version of "kiss my ass" which got the crowd in a frenzy. He finished off with "Great White Buffalo" which was excellent and even shot his bow into his guiter as a symbolic gesture. He played for about a hour. Next came what everyone was there to see-KISS The theater was now packed as they waited for KISS to appear. At about 9:15 the theater went dark as KISS appeared and the lights and pyro technics went wild. They crowd was electrified. They played all their hits. The light show was awesome. Gene Simmons and the fire breath was truly a sight to remember as was the blood during a guiter solo. And Ace Freely's guiter was Great! They had 3 big screens set up so you could see all the happenings, including some great video clips of past tours and some new animations. It was a concert well worth to see and its a shame it was there last farewell.
