KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Rick Burdick
Yesterday was my absolute, best day as a KISS fan in my whole life!! I went to the Jones Beach show on Long Island in which my center section D row tickets ended up being the the Front Row!! Kevin Bacon and Kara Sedgewick were 3 rows behind us with all ther kids, even Doc McGee came over to visit some friends sitting right next to us. I had traveled up from New Orleans to go to this show and wow what a suprise.

Now this was an outside show, on the beach wich made for a great effect with the wind blowing all night. I was able to grab all 4 member guitar picks as well as the the one and only, ever so coveted...Paul Stanley smashed guitar!!! He threw it right at me, it bounced off my hands, onto the confetti machine, and I leaped up and reached to get a hold of the loose wires and bingo. It was an unbelievable experience. Great show, great fun. Ace went back to his 3 song solo montage, Paul stayed out on the far platform for Love Gun, the he sang I Still Love You, and began the intro to Black Diamond.

Awesome Show and the most complete KISS Concert experience in 11 shows.
