KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Mark Hendricks
Another great show by KISS. I was lucky to get to see my favorite band one more time.

A local band, Brickfoot, opened up on the 2nd stage. They won a local radio stations contest (98 Rock). A very nice reward

Skid Row played for an hour and kicked ass. this time they had a light show. Their set list remained the same except for the add-ins: Psycho Love, Get the fuck out, quicksand jesus, psycho therepy (ramones cover sung by Raychel Bolan), and some others. The place was packed for them unlike at Nissan.

I wish Uncle Ted stayed on the tour, he rules.

KISS was great!! When Paul took off the top part of his costume, peter played a striper like beat on his drums as paul danced, pretty funny. Peter didn't seem to be into the show untill the middle, then you could tell he was having fun. During Shock Me, Ace did a moonwalk across the stage, Ace kicks ass. Gene, as always, kicked ass. Him and ace did some square dancing and he licked a bald security guards head! Gene also gave a hot woman a backstage pass. Lucky, lucky dude. The set list remained the same except no "2000 Man" and peters drum solo, well he didn't have one. Paul just talked to the crowd as peter kept a rythem going. All i can say is: KISS ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

I hear that in february they will tour japan and austrailia than play their last shows in the US, i hope they play at Madison Square Garden. Screw school, because i will be there.

Long Live The Greatest Rock-n-Roll band of all time.

If there are any tapes of the Nissan show on 7/1/00 or Merriweather on 10/4/00 please e-mail me. Thanks
