KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: RGH
The stage set up was completely different from the previous 3 shows I've seen. Of course the coliseum is small so they couldn't set up all their speakers and had them hanging instead of sitting on the side of the stage. They also had the giant "KISS ARMY" banners hanging off to the side of the stage covering the un-used part of the seating. The boys continue to personalize their shows and seem to be having a great time. Gene forgot words to a song and had to repeat a verse to fill in the void. Out of all the shows, some jerk with a laser pen showed up. Paul handled it great after "I Still Love You" and ready for "Black Diamond" when he said he wanted "everybody to light your flames and the mother fucker with the laser pen better put it away or I'll come out there and shove it up your ass. There's about 10,000 very cool people here and one asshole." What a moment but what a jerk the guy had to have been. The set list was the same as has been announced previously, but to see the road crew set up each stage to fit the venue is great. I've been following the boys since I was about 15 years old in 1974 and loved them ever since. My first concert ever was KISS at Wichita State University and my final KISS concert is the Wichita, Kansas Coliseum. WOW! Get a t-shirt specially made for the city you see them in, they're awesome and a great keepsake. As much as I have always loved the boys, I truly hope they're going out on top like they claim and not some ploy to bring back Bruce and Eric without the makeup later on. Let us remember you the way you've always been to me, "Larger than life!" Thanks for the great memories and for putting on the best show money can buy. God bless Peter, Paul, Gene, and Ace. rgh.
