KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Marshall Thompson
Hi There, SKID ROW-Sorry, but not very familiar with them, so I cannot give an objective appraisal, except they were ok.

TED NUGENT- Oh yeah, very entertaining, and as he will tell you, Uncle TED is a rockin son of a -----!

KISS- I have seen KISS 8 times. The first time was in the mid 70's in Germany while in the Army. Saw the legendary Houston Love Gun in 77? Saw them in Salina,KS in 84? Saw the Hot in The Shade tour a couple of times, the reunion tour twice Kansas City, and Topeka. This Farewell Tour was absolutely Fantastic!!!!! I will share the only drawback upfront,Peter's drumming is not what it used to be, however Beth was everything it's supposed to be. NOW, the rest of the story..... Paul,Ace,and Gene were magnificent. If you did not know their age you would never believe they were in the 50's range, they played their instruments better than they ever have. The pyro, video screens, dual KISS signs, hydraulics, flying, etc, were overwhelming. Everything a KISS show should be, and what their original intentions were.

I mourn their retirement, but as we all we know all good things must come to an end. If you have any opportunity to see this show, you must!!!!!!!!!

FOR I AM SURE THE WORLD WILL NEVER SEE THE LIKES OF KISS AGAIN, THE ABSOLUTE PINNACLE OF THEATRICS AND HEAVY METAL MUSICAL EXCELLENCE.

WE SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER THEM,AND REMEMBER THAT THEIR COMMITMENT TO A GOAL SHOULD BE AN INSPIRATION TO ALL OF US,BELIEVE IN YOUR VISION AND IT SHALL HAPPEN. THEY WANTED TO BE THE BEST, AND THEY BECAME/ARE, UNPARRALLED.
