Musician Gene Simmons debuted the launch of his Simmons Comics Anthology, enthusiastically signing copies of his comic books at Comic-Con International 2012 at San Diego Convention Center on July 13, 2012 in San Diego, California.

The KISS rock star donned in his signature black threads and dark sunglasses, posed with extras dressed up as characters in his comics, Zipper, who comes complete with swimming goggles and chains and Dominatrix, who is attired in a leotard, Mexican wrestling mask, red gloves and red boots!

CEO Sean O’Reilly of Arcana Comics was also there to lend support and soak in the moment of their partnership in the relaunch of Gene Simmons’ comics.

Simmons Comics Anthology will combine the legendary comics originally created by Simmons Comics to include the first issue of Zipper™, Dominatrix™ and Gene Simmons House of Horrors™ as well as the first chapter of his debuting “The Slave Trade™”, where Zipper and Dominatrix will face off against each other.

Simmons explains that they “intend on using the finest artists and writers in the comic book medium,” and “Zipper™, Dominatrix™, and Gene Simmons House of Horrors™ will be published all year long.

According to Simmons, the “Simmons Comics Anthology” is being brought out especially for Comic-Con this year and fans are being treated to a “jam-packed featuring all of our comic book titles. This is just the beginning.”

Oh, one more thing – only 200 copies of the Simmons Comics Anthology will be made available through Comic-Con.
