He tweeted up a storm about Gov. Rick Perry back in August, but Monday night KISS bassist Gene Simmons revealed his dream candidate.
“Colin Powell would make the best Republican candidate. Period,” the rocker tweeted.
Simmons was busy making 2012 predictions a few months ago, writing, “The next president will be Gov Rick Perry” and “I DO believe Gov Perry will surge ahead.” He even declared a winning ticket to be “Gov Perry and Condoleezza Rice.” But his Perry for president predictions may be over. Simmons hasn’t tweeted a word about the governor since late August.
