DETROIT, MI – Tonight’s KISS/Motley Crue show at DTE Energy Music Theater has been postponed to Thursday because of a truck rollover accident that reportedly took place this morning in northwest Ohio.

Tour officials said in a press release that a tour pyrotechnic truck flipped on its way to Detroit and “spilled our gear all over the freeway.”

The newspaper also reported on its website that the crash occurred “around 8 a.m,” and amazingly didn’t injure anyone or damage the tour’s equipment inside.
The driver of the trailer was reportedly transported to a hospital following the crash, and that none of the band members were on the trailer.
“All of the equipment that was salvaged was put on a trailer and sent off with the band,” Cridersville police chief John D. Drake told the newspaper. “It will interrupt two shows for them, they said. But the show will go on.”
Tickets for tonight’s show at DTE will be honored Thursday night; refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx expressed gratitude on his Twitter page for the tour crews’ safety and shared several photos of the accident.
